Denise Lee Richards (born February 17 1971, height 5' 5 3/4" (1,66 millimeters)) was an American actor and fashion model. The actress made waves in the latter part of 1990 in a variety of films highlighting her sex appeal including Starship Troopers Wild Things and The World Is Not Enough. She has a role in the reality TV series Denise Richards: It's Complicated which airs on American channel E!. Richards was born to Irv Richards, a phone engineer and Joni Richards who runs the coffee shop at Downers Grove Illinois. Richards has a sister Michelle and grew up in both Mokena as well as Downers Grove Illinois. In 1989, she graduated from El Camino High School in Oceanside California. In her younger days she was the only female member of her team. Richards began as an actress for the Judith Fontaine Modeling & Talent Agency.
