Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been as a performer, model and advocate for animal rights in America. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 72 are among her most well-known films. She grew up in an artist family in New York and wanted to explore a career in the artistic fields. Her first job was as a photographer's assistant before moving on to acting and modeling. Her first two movies got noticed and earned her the Golden Globe Award of Most promising newcomer. MacGraw's feature film Love Story was an international hit, earning her an Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. With just three movies, she became the top female box-office star in the entire world. The Grauman's Chinese Theater recorded her signature as well as foot prints, hand prints, and footprints in 1972. She also appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, along with other films. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography was published. MacGraw was married to three individuals.
