Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy born in June 1962, is an American actor from the United States. Her film debut was in Bad Boys (1983). Following that she enrolled in the Bratpack and starred on screen in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club(1985) and Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy was awarded the Independent Spirit Award in 1998 for best female character. This was due to her role as Lisa Cholodenko in High Art. Sheedy is an American actress, and author. Her film debut came by appearing in the crime-drama movie Bad Boys in the early 1980s for which she was quite appreciated. The film which was directed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other popular actors such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. After her success in a film she starred in The Breakfast Club - a comedy/drama. The film of John Hughes, The Breakfast Club is considered as one of the best high school films. Even though the budget was $1 million, its profits surpassed the mark of $50 million. The actress also appeared on various television programs, such as CBS Schoolbreak. This was her debut on television. The show targeted teenagers that began to air in April of 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues are other programs on TV where she was featured. One of her most recent appearances is Little Sister. Another one, X-Men Apocalypse a story about a female superhero where Sheedy is a guest. Sheedy has been recognized for her extraordinary performances won many awards. Sheedy was awarded the MTV Movie Awards' silver Bucket of Excellence Award 2005.
