Sara Ramirez was born in Mexico. She is an American Mexican actor. Also, she sings. She was raised by her mom in the USA she had to face a lot of racial taunts which gave her feeling of being a bit unpopular. After entering a ninth-grade school audition where she was praised for her singing as she built confidence. The experience not only boosted confidence in herself, but it also changed her career ambition. In 1992 she graduated with her master's degree from the city's Julliard School. In 1993, she made her Broadway debut with Paul Simon's The Capeman. Her first film was You've Got Mail. In the Broadway version of the original show Spamalot, she played the Lady of The Lake which won the Tony Award as well as the praise of critics. In 2007, she was cast on the ABC show Grey's Anatomy and became more well-known. She is a popular singer. she has also released both songs and plays. In addition, she's an activist who is active in the field of LGBT rights.
